If you are unable to attend the next ceremony you can wait and apply for a future ceremony when it opens.
You can choose to attend the graduation ceremony April, September or December. (Because each degree is associated with a particular ceremony it is not possible to attend a different ceremony time or day within the same round of graduations.
If you don’t wish to attend a ceremony, you can apply to have your award conferred in absentia. This means your award will still be officially awarded by the university in your absence. However, please note that if you are conferred in absentia you won’t have the option to attend a future graduation ceremony for that award.
Absentia conferrals happen once a month. When you apply to be conferred in absentia you will be assigned to the next available conferral date.
