Our Student Advisors are happy to meet with you one-on-one to discuss applying, courses and career pathways. Contact us with details including:
- your name and how to contact you
- whether you are a domestic or international applicant
- whether you studied year 12 in Australia or elsewhere
- any other study history if you didn’t complete year 12
- at least three suggestions for times you are available to meet with us on campus.
We’ll contact you as soon as possible to make an appointment.
It is also worth doing some research on career pathways before you visit us. Our Course Navigator is a good starting point. You begin by choosing the types of work that interest you. The Course Navigator then suggests potential career roles to choose from. Follow the career links to view an outline of the kind of tasks you would be expected to do in such a role, plus a list of the courses that can put you on this career path following graduation.
The Job Outlook is also a comprehensive resource, whether you are trying to match your passions to a career, want to know what is involved in a particular job, or are looking ahead to find out what industries will have the best employment prospects after you graduate.
As a Flinders University student (and up to 18 months following completion of your studies) you can visit our Careers and Employer Liaison Centre for access to a diverse range of career services including workshops, job postings, careers advice, mentor programs and other career resources. Until then, you are welcome to use the online resources on our Career direction and decision making page.
