You can check your graduation status by logging into the Student System. Your account will remain active for 12 months after your degree has been officially completed.
Select 'My Graduation' from the menu on the Student System and select the award you wish to view. This will give you information on:
- your degree name and level (i.e. Pass, Honours, or 'Expected to Graduate' if you have not yet completed your requirements)
- ceremony name
- ceremony date and time
- whether you will be attending or want your degree conferred in absentia
- the number of tickets you have currently been allocated.
- your name pronunciation (you can update this online yourself).
If you are using the Online Application via the Graduation webpage, your graduation details will only appear after you have applied to graduate. Please allow up to 10 days after submitting an application for details to be updated.
Please note: 'Expected to Graduate' indicates that you have submitted an Online Application to graduate; however, your eligibility to graduate has yet to be determined. Your graduation cannot be confirmed until your status changes to 'Pass' or 'Honours'.
If you continue to have a status of 'Expected to Graduate' up to and including the day of your scheduled ceremony you will not be permitted to graduate. Any queries about your graduation status (e.g. if you are still listed as 'Expected to Graduate' and do not understand why) should be directed to your College well in advance of graduation to avoid disappointment on the day.
