If you are studying any of the Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice degree courses, including the Honours and Graduate entry degree courses, then you may be able to exit with a Bachelor of Laws degree if you provide sufficient notice. If you do not intend to undertake the Practical Legal Training (PLT) topics of the degree, then you must provide notification in writing via Ask Flinders during your final 12 months to ensure that you are recorded as a graduate of the Bachelor of Laws.
Note:
- Post-2011 admitted Bachelor of Laws students do not undertake the PLT topics but must undertake a sufficient number of option units to meet the 36 unit overall requirements for the single degree or 27 units for the Law component of a combined degree.
- We do not offer a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and therefore once you complete the Bachelor of Laws you cannot come back and complete the PLT topics.
